Industrial Performance Manager Ecophon

Ecophon develops, manufactures and markets acoustic products and solutions for ceilings and walls. Ecophon offers acoustics solutions all over the world to meet growing demands for good acoustic environments. Our head office is located just outside Helsingborg. About the role

This is a new role within Ecophon, a combination of different roles put together, and a strategic position in the organisation. With higher demands from customers there is a need for increased business focus, more flexibility and to continuously adapt to changes in the outside world. Internally there is a need for a more proactive cross-functional and project-based way of working throughout the whole organisation and this role will work closely with Plant Managers to implement best practise, LEAN and WCM. Change Management will be in focus.

As Industrial Performance Manager, you are included in the Operations & Supply Chain management group and will report directly to the Operations & Supply Chain Director. The role will have staff responsibility and be located at Ecophon’s site in Hyllinge, outside Helsingborg.

Overall responsibilities;

  • To further develop operations excellence and performance within Ecophon
  • Lead WCM coordinators – planning, setting goals, follow-up and further development
  • Build strong relationships with strategic stakeholders, foremost plant managers and suppliers
  • Drive and coordinate best practice within Ecophon and other Saint-Gobain entities
  • Responsible for policies and guidelines, making sure they are applied within the business area in order to increase motivation, well-being, safety and efficiency
  • Ensure that laws and agreements that regulate conditions in the business area are applied and that the work environment activities are conducted in an active manner
  • Work environment responsibility according to Ecophon’s delegation

Qualifications

  • Plant management experience to win trust and confidence is very important
  • International and industrial experience
  • Experience in personnel management, development of processes and follow-up of operations
  • Goal- and result oriented, used to long-term planning, following through projects all the way and working self-dependent.
  • Strong in build business relationships internally and externally and able to communicate unhindered with people from different cultures
  • Very good knowledge in English both verbally and in writing
