Director Business Development - Aircontact Group

Aircontact Group AS was founded in 1962, focusing on air broking, airfreight forwarding and aircraft financing. Soon the company branched out into the travel & tourism segment, acquiring and founding travel agencies, tour operators and convention organizers. Later the company ventured into areas such as the technology sector, property development and design. Aircontact Group is expanding in the Nordics and now needs to reinforce with a Director responsible for the business development in Denmark.

Your main task will be developing strategic partnerships and industrial positions in Denmark. You act as the local representative in Denmark for various international companies within the aviation industry, with public customers as designated area, but also working towards private companies or organizations. That includes helping them identifying business opportunities, knowing the local market and keeping a close dialogue with their Nordic customers.

You report to the Managing Director in Oslo and work very closely with the business development team in Norway, Sweden and Finland. The position is located at Aircontact Group’s Danish office expectedly placed in Ballerup, but travels occurs frequently, mainly within Denmark, to Sweden, Finland and Norway but also to clients in the US.

Who are you?

Aircontact Group welcomes applications from experienced candidates that have a current network within the Danish military and/or Danish defence sector. Understanding of the Air Force current portfolio, related services hereby purchasing drivers, formalities and decision levels is important.

In addition, commercial experience combined with a good financial and legal understanding is highly desired.

The ideal candidate is also fluent in Danish and English, oral and written.
